Editorial Summary: This cleanser is a favorite for oily and combo skin peeps. It won’t rip your face off but can dry out dry skins. Smells fresh, works well for nipping pimples in the bud, and won’t break the bank. Not for deep pore purging or if you have sensitive skin though.
Methodology: Analyzed 17 quotes from Reddit discussions across skincare-related subreddits including AsianBeauty, KoreanBeauty, and SkincareAddiction, dated between August 2017 and June 2025, synthesizing user experiences on cleansing effectiveness, skin compatibility, scent, and potential drawbacks.

Right now im using some Innisfree bija cleanser but it is really meant for the face.
Innisfree bija gel cleanser is suuuper gentle
Some of the foaming cleansers are pretty high pH - I found that lava one too stripping, but the blueberry is nice. I do like their oil cleansers a lot especially the olive oil one and the bija cleansers were cult favourites on this subreddit for years.
Innisfree - Bija Anti-Trouble Cleansing Gel | Another week of product or so left
I recently gave the foam cleanser a second try as I bought it months ago and it didn't work well with my skin. Sadly it still feels too stripping and drying for my skin type (oily & dehydrated), by the end of the week it broke me out. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone with dry skin.
