I thought I’d give a review of this face wash since there’s hardly any reviews here on Reddit (and everywhere else on the internet). I’ve been hunting for a face wash that doesn’t strip the skin of its natural oils, cleanses the skin well and doesn’t leave a weird film after cleansing (most hydrating cleansers do this for me). My skin type is normal/combo that’s mildly sensitive. This cleanser is literally perfect for me, light foamy lather, doesn’t dry out the skin, face feels properly cleansed without leaving that weird film unlike some hydrating cleansers. The bottle also has that smaller cap (for environmental reasons) which I prefer as I loathe the flip-top cap storing cold water (and mould growing, joys of hard water 😅). Anyways, I rate this a 10/10 as it does the job, is relatively affordable at £12.50 (you can buy it from SVR directly or at The French Pharmacy @ Cavendish St in Marylebone London) and packaging is better than the other face washes I’ve used in the past.

I've tried all of them except the avène, so take this with a grain of salt, but i found them all somewhat drying to varying degrees. I'm gonna throw in a different recommendation and suggest you try the svr physiopure gel cleanser, it's really underrated, very lightly scented, foams well but is not drying on my normal skin, doesn't bother my eyes at all.

I started using this cleanser a week ago or so, and so far I love how gentle it is and leaves my face feeling so soft + clean. Also, I think the quality and price are unbeatable! :)

I like this a lot as either a morning or a second cleanser. The only thing that somewhat bothers me is the fragrance, but thankfully it’s not that strong. SVR has a lot of great products, it’s probably the brand I use the most at the moment. Edit: There’s a bigger bottle (400 ml) that’s not much more expensive (where I’m from it’s around 1 euro/1 quid more than the 200 ml one from the picture)

Hey! I am currently using it (in my PM routine, before retinol) and it is quite gentle and non-stripping. It's also nice to use when the skin barrier is destroyed and I just use this cleanser, followed by a heavy moisturizer.

svr physiopure wash: it was very pleasant but enough to remove makeup. it doesn’t leave the skin dry but idk i wouldn’t pay that much for this if it didn’t came free with my order.

I prefer the gel, but it's just a texture preference. I always have the (irrational) feeling that cream cleansers don't clean as well. The Topyalse gel cleanser is also great btw!

They are very good. Especially svr. I have few products and I like them. My skin is oily sensitive acne prone. Try their Physiopure cleanser and micellar water.
