For lipstick - maybelline superstay matte ink liquid lipstick is insane! I have it in multiple colours. You can literally shower or swim in it and it won't budge unless you want it to. Super pigmented too.

I am obsessed with these. They are a bit sticky but not at all like typical liquid lipsticks. They aren't drying like a ton of matte lipsticks, but they create the same matte effect when dry (which doesn't take long either like a lot of liquid lipsticks that require you to wait there with your lips parted like a fish). They stain ALL day. I have tried at least 80% of lipstain offerings at Sephora and Ulta (and tons of K beauty too), and these by far last longer than the popular stains like Benetint, Dior, Milani tints, Peri Pera, etc. They are SO much more comfortable than temporary tattoo feeling liquid lipsticks. I can't rave enough.

It's not silly at all. I do still wear mine, though. I haven't used any of my lip glosses in a while, but I still wear my Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink liquid lipsticks. It stays put whether I'm wearing a mask or not. I just blot my lips after application because it can get a little sticky. Aside from that, it lasts all day -- through food (greasy ones included) and drink.

So on to the flip side: Holy shit this stuff is hard to remove. Pure olive oil barely faded it. I had to use a oil based makeup remover to gently scrub it off and even then you could still see a bit of color coming through THE NEXT DAY.

To call this product longwearing isn’t enough. It’s more like semi-permanent. This is good and bad. For one, I can wear it through an 8 hour serving shift, glance in the mirror a few times, and see not only has it not faded AT ALL, but it hasn’t even fucking moved. AT ALL. I’ll eat, I’ll talk, I’ll lick my lips, I’ll drink all kinds of stuff. NO MOVEMENT. I can still feel it but it almost feels like it should look like garbage but it doesn’t, it looks pretty much identical to when I put it on. It doesn’t crack, smudge, or fade, even around the inner lip area. I don’t know what’s in this stuff but it seems like actual paint or varnish or something. It’s impossibly long lasting.

Too bad this lipstick leaves the ugliest stain ever on my lips after eating! This isn't even my most drying lipstick but it just stains so awfully on me. All my other lippies either disappear completely or leave a subtle stain that may not be 100% even but still looks nice.

I'm a line cook that stands in hot kitchens chugging water all day, and the only thing I've found so far that holds up almost 100% would be the really dark shades of Maybelline's 24 Hour SuperStay liquid stuff.

I *love* Maybelline SuperStay Matte liquid lipstick (it stays on through literally anything, even underneath a mask) but it's a pain to take off.
