Editorial Summary: Medicube devices get your skin glowing and lifted if you stick with it. But heads up: some folks had cracked devices or weird twitching. Not for super sensitive skins or if you want zero fuss. Worth a try if you want a techy boost and don’t mind a learning curve.
Methodology: Analyzed 74 Reddit quotes from skincare-focused subreddits including KoreanBeauty, SkincareAddiction, and 30PlusSkinCare between January 2015 and July 2025, synthesizing user experiences, benefits, and issues with Medicube devices.

Multiple people have recommended the medicube, so that’s a definite and exactly the type of thing I was looking for.
Last weekend I had the opportunity to test the Medicube Age-R Booster Pro, and oh my god.. the microcurrent is way beyond what I get with my Nuface! ... But even comparing my out-of-the-box Nuface experience to the Age-R Booster Pro, the Medicibe is way stronger. You can actually see your muscles contract. I used it next to my eye, and it makes the eyes wink.
I have purchased the medicube age r booster pro and been using it for just over 3 weeks and it has been really helpful. I see a little difference in skin texture and tone.
Microcurrent mode: Very very very strong microcurrent. I have seen users on reddit share it is higher than NuFace, but I personally haven't tried the latter. I did not have a good experience with this because I had broken capillaries the day after. This is even with being mindful of not using actives, using a good conductor etc. But I have extremely sensitive skin.
I have my Medicube Age-R Booster Pro and it is in good condition. Super excited to use it!
