CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask

Hands down the most comfortable LED mask I’ve tried and the cooling under eye part feels magical. As someone prone to migraines and a chronic sinusitis..I was pleasantly surprised by how good and cold this area gets.

Congratulations! I’ve heard it’s one of the few devices with actual studies to back its claims.

I have it, it definitely works but you have to keep using it. People always say how smooth and shiny my skin looks.

Near the bottom she gets into specific masks - omnilux and currentbody are made by the same manufacturer. I went with the omnilux and have been happy with it!

Not AB, but I have the face mask from Light Salon and neck/chest mask from Current Body. Absolutely obsessed with both of them. Only has two settings — off and on. It has a built in ten minute timer, and I use them every day.

I can’t speak to the results just yet, but all of this to say, LED is only as good as how consistent you’re willing to be with it, so it’s probably worth it to do your research and find a mask that you’ll stick with.

My interest in LED masks started a couple years ago and I purchased the CurrentBody series 1 face + neck and dec masks bundle at a steep discount on Black Friday. The neck mask is fine, but the face mask not so much. It only had a single strap which made it so that the mask didn’t sit flush against all parts of my face. It came into contact with my forehead, but the bottom half of the mask was kind of lifted outward and was nowhere near close to my skin. I couldn’t use it standing up because 1) it would fall down and I couldn’t get it tight enough to stay up and 2) something about the brightness or placement of the lights was just too much, even with my eyes closed, and I had to use the eye protection, which is fine but it’s an extra step that impacted the ease of use for me. Also having to put the Velcro strap through the loop and adjust it every time was just annoying enough that it made me not want to use it (similar to having to put on the eye protection goggles).

After a year of the higher dose mask collecting dust in my closet, I ended up selling it and buying the current body series 2 mask (I bought it secondhand bc full price it’s absurdly expensive). Although I’ve only been using it for a couple weeks now, I think I found the one. It has the double strap system for a good fit and doesn’t cause any inflammation. It has a top strap so I can use it standing up (although I typically don’t but I like having the option) and the lights don’t affect my eyes so I can keep them open and scroll on my phone even without the eye protection pieces. It also has some extra bells and whistles (like the chin strap) that I’m not sure are necessary, but sure why not?

I bought this mask during Dennis Gross’ July 4th sale and it was my most exciting skincare purchase of the year! I genuinely believe that the results are worth it. I hope you love it!
