Editorial Summary: Budget tri-light (red/NIR/blue) that Redditors swear zaps hyper-pigment, chills rosacea, smooths texture, and gives that “whoa-glow” in 10-15-min laptop sessions. Big wins: cheap, comfy fit, laptop-friendly, hair-growth + acne perks, loads of before/afters showing legit progress. Weak spots: slow shipping, missing eye-pads, Chinese OEM vibes & sparse long-term data—so killer bang-for-buck if you’re cool with a little QC roulette.
Methodology: Analyzed 75 quotes from Reddit communities like 30PlusSkinCare, SkincareAddiction, and Sephora from May 2018 to July 2025, synthesizing common themes and user experiences to provide an impartial overview.

I ended up getting a Skin Trusted mask and it has red, near infrared, and blue and it's worked great for me. [Skin Trusted](http://www.skintrusted.com)
I got this LED mask from Skin Trusted and have been using their purple complex light (Near Infrared, red and blue light combo) for 10 min a day, 4 times a week. Been loving the results.
I have it, it definitely works but you have to keep using it. People always say how smooth and shiny my skin looks.
I got a cheaper RLT mask and it was 100% not worth it.
I’m literally at tjmaxx right now looking for reviews on this lol. Well at least I know internet searches work.
I got the Omnilux Men's to help skin texture and reduce hyperpigmentation (sun spots, freckles) that I had already minimized through skin care and devotion to sunscreen and hats. The Omnilux made my hyperpigmention worse. I tried another mask with no 1080 nm wavelength and that continued to exacerbate hyperpigmention. Tried a mask with different colors and only used yellow/green. Same result.
