Firstly, your doctor did a fantastic job with the surgery! The picture from today looks amazing. I would recommend not putting tape over it. I would find a sunscreen that 1) provides full coverage of your nose and face and 2) is easy to reapply. For chemical, supergoop unseen sunscreen is my favorite that hits both those needs. For mineral, cotz prime and protect is fantastic and sticks really well to the skin (especially nose). Neither of these feel sticky on the skin and work pretty well in their own or with makeup. I would also definitely recommend a wide brimmed hat and sunglasses too for extra coverage.

I actually like this a lot and thought the white cast was quite minimal. I’m Asian and tanned and have a hard time finding mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast. I do however, always put on moisturizer before sunscreen. Maybe that combination works out well?

I don't get any white cast when I use it. And, yes, I use enough to properly protect my face & neck. And I have very fair skin.
